What we’re looking for:

Usman Group is seeking a detail-oriented, quick-working Web Designer for a part-time position. The Web Designer will work directly with our senior creative designers on-site. The position will involve maintaining existing websites as well as creating new web sites from scratch using industry standard programs such as Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Create beautiful, user-friendly web site designs quickly and gracefully based on pre-defined art direction
  • Code sites with HTML, CSS, and Javascript quickly and effectively
  • Maintain and update existing web sites within provided deadlines
  • Work quickly and innovatively with Flash (ActionScript and Video knowledge is a plus!)

  • Possess a strong desire to learn, adapt and grow
  • Maintain commitments to deadlines and have an exemplary work ethic
  • Possess advanced computer skills, including a working knowledge of many of the following: HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL, Web accessibility and usability standards, Macromedia Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator
