web developer position

What we’re looking for:

This part-time position will offer support and change fulfillment for a wide variety of existing web site projects as well as new projects under development. Applications include e-commerce sites, content management systems, business workflow management and intranet portals. The primary development technologies include ASP.NET 1.x and 2.0, SQL Server, and XML. The position also would include Classic ASP application support and custom web development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • 1-3 years of experience with ASP.NET, and VB.NET
  • Other skills that would be nice to have but not required include C#.NET, SQL Server, Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS, and IIS
  • Maintain and update existing web sites within provided deadlines

Job requirements:

  • Experience programming ASP.NET using primarily Visual Basic. Experience with VB.NET is desired
  • Extensive experience developing SQL Server databases
  • Ability to write clean, documented code
  • Strong verbal/written communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience extending third-party .NET shopping cart and CMS components is preferred
